Replying to Polar_ #polar_ Why did you not play Kazuya with a K-stick?
Usually I play on pad
Honestly I feel like when it comes to specific inputs pad is the way to go
Electrics are so fucking easy on pad
Tekken ipad
Replying to Polar_ #polar_ I had a razer panthera with a kstick until I made a hitbox. Tekken on Hitbox kinda ass imo
media.tenor.com
Hitbox looks like this to me
How Tf you even move
Replying to Polar_ #polar_ When T8 came out I just play Bryan Fury/Lee because the inputs were so easy
Speaking of easy a lot of inputs actually got easier to do in t8 with a lot of characters
Steve’s Gatling gun for instance
Used to have a rhythm to it
But now it’s Mashable
DSS also became easy too
Same with wr moves

Bryan is cool
Can you tju?
Wait that’s one of the harder things to do with Bryan lol

I think a lot of games, like sf6, give a bigger window these days. Its why some inputs get weird if you do them too quickly.
I think it’s to make the games more accessible
Which is good
For the fgc communities growth
I agree
Making slow progress with fighting games is what makes fighting games fighting games imo.
Replying to Polar_ #polar_ Maybe im wrong, DBFZ was very simple/accessible and had a ton of people on and trying it
It was designed that way I believe though personally I find dbfz more difficult lol. Probably because my first major fighting games was tekken.
2d is definitely a transition
And neutral is different
Replying to Polar_ #polar_ Yea, I used to spend a lot of time when I first got T7 practicing KBD/Wavedash and it was very satisfying when it came together
That’s the same way I felt when I got my electrics consistent as well with dck cancels with Steve
Feels cool to do execution stuff at a consistent rate
Replying to Polar_ #polar_ The downfall of enjoying tekken, imo, is that there arent many games that are as fast. At least imo, maybe tag fighters but I personally dont like tag games
Tag games ain’t it honestly for me
I don’t like learning multiple characters
I feel this way with Kof too
Despite liking the mechanics

Also I feel like the neutral pace of tekken is unlike any other game
It’s like perfect
Gives you enough time to perceive and react to what you’re doing
Maybe it’s just that I only know how to play tekken well though probably
Replying to Polar_ #polar_ Yea, I didnt mind the defensive style of T7. I dislike T8 because its over in 2 interactions now
Real
T7 was better
I feel like also the tracking got ramped up
They buffed movement but ramped up the tracking
So what’s the point in moving
Also the range too
Clive and jun make me rage sometimes
Looks like normal be looking normal now
Wait it looks like everything be looking normal now
