I've heard it more in the last week than I have in the last 2 years
I'd heard it occasionally, and it felt a little too internet-y to use
but I've heard it a fuckton this week, including when people were ordering a slop bowl

i noticed yesterday or so that "slop" has entered the normie vernacular
ok it's not just me, I was going to say the same thing
it feels like the dam burst on "slop"
I think it was a couple months ago or so I noticed it became normie
but it has picked up pace for sure
friendslop was the first word that I saw millennials start adopting, and using in normie parlance
a couple months ago
Mints favourite streamer hassan piker started calling channels he did not like sloptubers a couple months ago, so that got a bunch of weird lefty people to start using the word
and in the last 1-2 weeks, I now hear slop EVERYWHERE
the girl in front of me at Cava genuinely asked for a slopbowl when ordering though
which was why I had to ask

I think -slop sorta implies you like it
slop usually just means bog standard and not special, but who does not want some good slop every now and then
slopbowl is a really apt term too
I do think friendslop was the peak of the modern usuage of slop though
because everyone I know (including me) just shakes those bowl lunches up
I liked that term and thought it was funny
and they turn into a sorta sludge
