Kindergarten through college for me
Yeah, same leg
Some classes would post optional homework "do these problems from the textbook"
Which I would of course never do
Yeah thats fair. I do not learn that way so I don't
We had lots of optional stuff, just interesting it was never called homework
My philosophy is "If I cannot do this by reviewing the theory, I do not understand it enough anyways" So I never do practice problems (or really review particular problems)
I haven't since I did quantum theory like 4ish years ago
but I have done stuff with them
Yeah, that makes sense
I didn't do any group theory stuff, but usually that is the stuff swept under the rug that you take for granted learning it for the first time
I didn't know that since I do not do much convolution stuff, but that makes sense

i had homework starting at like grade 3 or 4, and it was all graded. you would fail a class if you did not do enough of your homework, test scores alone were not enough. had homework for multiple subjects almost every day.

Woman in my office (one of our trainers) died last night

Literally referred to her killing herself as her "retirement", with quotes just like that
Drone girl is extra sad about it, so I'm going to bring her a shake too
