100%, I think visiting New England for the 1st time, or any of the different US regions
is bigger than people give them credit for being
other than the language barrier, most of the developed world is similar
it fun in how they're different
but not something that is a spectacle, or if it is you adapt to it really quickly
Dr. Kribbles goes to India
a 5-part series
careful, you might get elected president
tall, white, PhD
you might be the most qualified in the country once you touch down
while I don't like climbing... at all
I do think mountain people have the most fun traveling
everywhere they go is interesting, cheap (relative) and lends themselves to cool experiences
My coworker climbed all across Kygystan and Tajikistan a year or so ago
along the Chinese border
his photos are insane
just convince your job to send you
WWIII planning lol
I have -1000 interest in solo travel, some people like it, not for me though
and also Guam, I have -1000 interest in spending any more time in Guam
(I like guam don't get me wrong, but I've seen it all lol)
family trips wrapped around and became enjoyable only because they sorta became a parody at some point
Travelling costs more money than I am willing to spend
time to put Pika on a $99 Carnival Cruise
Also true, but I doubt having a job woild change that
I do not like wasting money
bonus, you'll get to experience Gent's worst nightmare
I am 60 years too young for a cruise
that is a pure boomer activity
cruises unfortunately raced to the bottom and became shit
opposite Pika
they're for trashy low-income families now
interesting
ig riverboat cruises are still for boomers
but the big Caribbean and coastal cruises are all for black families now
ok, yeah that's probably an exception, and skews older
idk if you could convince low-income families to go whale watching for fun
and ^^
one of my clearest memories as a kid/tween
we were on a family cruise, and were stopped at some island doing an excusrion or w/e
and this black guy was being put on a jetski
and was going on and on about how he couldn't swim and if he flipped over he was suing Carnival
and I asked my mom why black people couldn't swim, very loudly
we had one kid who had to fast for a month every year, and the school escorted him to the libary during lunch time so he wouldn't be around anyone else
but our library was in the centre of all the hallways, glass windows on all walls
so he was in a fishbowl that eveyone got to observe
they never explained ramadan to us either, why bother our school was 99% white
so we just assumed he was dying
