Probably unrelated, a lot of GitHub auto-build dependencies got fucked up over the weekend
Some core maintainers shuffled around and some key things broke, that wouldn't actually affect projects other than they were automating their build process and are too inept to rollback
I think US antitrust efforts against them are progressing

though, I think they're down in general because their AI sucks
Bard/Gemini/AI Mode or whatever they've rebranded it to this week
And then like Chives said, uncertainty over how they're going to get broken up
There's actually very little good news for Google rn
I think every? one of their technology areas is falling behind and their market share has nowhere to go but down
now, part of that's because they have such absurd market share and profits to begin with
but I really do think their complete failure to make inroads with AI will be their undoing
More than Ads, Search, Cloud, Android, Content delivery, Smart Homes, etc.
ChromeOS is probably their only positive rn

Will be interesting the angle Google takes, if they can't get their AI to catch on
