I want opinions on this card The way I’m designing wizard is to be quite squishy and have insanely high costed card with very powerful effects that change the battle field but wizard do have way to reduce these insane costed spells and is more for when other characters get this card randomly it won’t be as good as if they were a wizard For example I have a card for wizard called greater mana control which reduces spell that cost 5 or more stamina by 4 but it cannot make a spell cost less then 4 stamina this is applied before any other modifiers are applied to the spells cost And yes shop items will help reduce the cost too

Another great part of this spell is the fact it doesn’t stun anything just remove movement inside of it so if you have teleports or other stuff you can get out of it but you are trying to leave that space with the teleport so you have to make the save again or you will be sent back down to the ground no damage as you had no movement left anyways But you can also try to send a fireball at the caster to try and break the spell but that fireball is trying to leave the area of the spell so it could just drop the fireball back on the caster You could also just use the spell as a wall for a get away to protect the group from projectiles as almost no projectiles will make it threw since that would be 5 saves in a row Stuff that just appears are not effected by the spell since they never entered

seems like a cool spell but theres far too many words. It should be cut down a little

In the show they never put range on the card description or area they always had it as the symbols so I could do that but I do kinda like have it say it’s range and quickly show it with the symbol I could just remove all instants of world and just tell player what it is Like remove cost just show it on the magic symbol remove once per combat keep it on the regular remove the range and area but damage will need to be on the cards description

Yeah I think leaving size, cost and range to the gems makes it easier to read
