I have to assume it's coinbase, and you're just fucked
I hold a lot of my shit in exchanges, I'm not scared of that
but any site that's going to generate tax docs for you can fuck off
I'm not dodging all taxes on crypto, I'll trade stuff on RH to make a buck and pay taxes on that, since it's all brokerage funds in the end
my only suggestion if they've already reported it all, is to claim (documented) long-term crypto losses elsewhere
just reverse cook your books or w/e
question is if it's worth it for losing 10% of gains

it's a yearly roll-up I'm pretty sure, so if he's traded 2-3 ETH total for the year already, every individual transaction is cumulative
I'm saying, if transaction 1 was 2 Eth, then every 0.00000000001 eth traded after that needs to be "counted" because he's over the reportable threshold
