Rusp, I think 1:01 is preferable to 1:00 but your actual deadline is the autorelease at 4:00, you can pick anytime between 1:01 and 3:59

I'd say to just do it whenever You/Umbreon/Pirate want in that window

If you can pick any time, I get back home around 3:15 if there is no other preference

I put it at 1:01 since you seemed to indicate that was optimal

For context, here is the release stack that day, with TG at 4:00 on the bottom

the majority of the games above it will drop at 1:00, so being after that is optimal, because the new-release reverse order will keep the later releases on top

if they all drop at 1:00, then 1:01 is optimal, you're not going to be the *last* game that releases that day, but will essentially be above the fold all weekend if you release at 4:00 and out-place everyone else on that list

if 90% of them drop at 1:00, then I'd say to release TG at 1:01 but if they sporradically drop starting at 1:00, then pushing later is more optimal

there are (at most) 6 games releasing after 4:00, so those will not push you out of the (default sort) first page all weekend

the speed at which we get to 10 reviews also matters a lot, because that will give the game a rating on steam, and reduce some of the importance of the raw release placement

tldr: someone should be looking at the new release list that day, and judge when the majority of games before you have released and then hit he button to release TG based on that

and then very aggressively push to have your people buy+review the game

I think if the 10 reviews thing is super important, also poling when the people here who will buy it and review it are available
