this is not directed at you Pika, but I actually think the 5070 is a really good buy for anyone with less than a 3080
oh wait, 5070 is 12GB not 16GB
I thought the whole range was 16
less of a good deal now!
fuck, that's actually annoying
I still think the 5090 and 5070 will sell out and get scalped immediately
I googled it to see if people were still selling them, I could buy a 1070 super right now for 2.5k
how good of a deal is that
KappaHDD
they sell solid gold servers now
1.2ton
fuck, I'll probably be lining up for a 5090 won't I
Llama has become Nemo
now I have to buy 2
congrats in advance Regi
4090 was SELLING at $2400-$2500
there'll be solid margins there
I was really big on the 5070, until I re-read that it's 12GB
it's painful to pay $200 additional dollars for 4GB of more VRAM
issue is that programs/games are retarded with memory, they NEVER test throughput, they singularly allocate a pool
it's not a dealbreaker, but it's not as much of a blind reccomend to everyone now
Replying to Spooky Phijkchu #spooky.131 4090 was SELLING at $2400-$2500
Profit on last gen was a few hundred
part of me thinks, they're ready for tariffs
all of these prices
are WELL below all the rumors/leaks
even the industry ones
I get the feeling Nvidia knows there'll be a 20% tariff
I actually think all their prices could easily rise 20%
and be absorbed
ok, that's true, and thus far there's not been enough software being pitched that's going to imminently need to be deployed for business
that's why they're gimping VRAM
most buisness needs are at the level of a XX90-series
not an actual server card
>WSL2
fuck
Nvidia why
actually fuck off
Nvidia is building their foundation on-top of Windows WSL2
true
I think that software baseline is a big L
$1699 right?
$1599
I'm really mad about the software, if you're going to focus on an X86 interpreter to run your Nemo
adding in another Windows-specific layer is going to be a perf hit they carry forever
