I shut mine off when I am done with it
I also shut my phone off
I go for that sweet 99.99% uptime on all my electronics
Replying to Rusp #rusp. The only reason I turn mine off is because all the shit on my computer still lights up even if its in sleep mode
Even if I turn off my pc theres still a disco of lights on it. Im so glad I have my pc in the livingroom now rather than bedroom. fuck those retards that put lights on their pc
RGB is the worst
I mean, if you want to turn your RGB lights off, you just can using your MB's utility
I think they look good when your computer isn't a full-on rainbow
people who go for the disco ball effect perplex me a bit
When I had RGB strip lights that was a joke gift for christmas, I made them strobe me as fast and annoyingly as possible
because it was funny

one day YouTube is going to go full Twitch and bake in ads I assume
but I think scaring/guilting normies is probably good enough for them for now
I'll flat out, never watch ads on YouTube
$140/year is way too much just to block youtube ads
does it even get you anything else?
looked it up, apparently not
I found a Tapermonkey script that is more of an Ad-skipper rather than an ad blocker
it plays the ads at 1000x speed so youtube thinks you watched them. it not perfect, though
my adblocker has yet to have any issues, but I just assume eventually they're going to get heavyhanded and make it a pain to get around
I will not watch YT ads though, I really would rather just not use the platform
The Twitch adblockers still have issues, the 'best' adblockers are the ones that just remote stream Twitch and then re-embed the stream next to the chat
but at a certain point, it gets in the way of actually jsut watching Twitch
My ad blocker also has not had issues
well blockers, because I use ublock and also brave has its built in one which I am pretty sure is also just ublock
people keep saying that, there was one in 2019 (he just missed)
