that I've heard about for the last 3 elections
I think the science of polling has basically ceased to function
the only reason it sort of works is because our system naturally results in two sides that are roughly 50-50 split
the outcome will be 50% ± 5%
it doesn't work because you're demographically sampling demographics you don't understand
The only way you fix elections is if every major party (this is country independent, same case for my country) fucking dies, and new ones pop up
NDP basically nuked themselves making my country a 2 party country
Quebec is always aligned with the quebec party
which usually forms coallitions with the liberal party

Also I do not think they should be gotten rid of, I think they should run their course and implode pissing everyone off into making new parties
