we got 1 hour out of the 6 hours for the drive, they called saying "we tried to preauth the credit card payment", they added a 200 dollar unannounced fee that they will "pay back" after you leave, refused to just not preauth that extra fee and let us pay it when we got there, so after an hour on the phone in a farmers field (after they hung up on us), we just drove home
So anyways now we are just waking up at 5am, leaving at 6 tomorrow

that fee is standard practice but the way they are handling that is stupid

Literally a mystery fee added 2 hours after they confirm your booking
it's probably in the 500 page user agreement no one reads
