home school pods usually last K-6, sometime 7-9 as well
after that though, you graduate out, excluding really weird religious circles

I'm a big proponent of homeschooling, but after K-6 it really stops making sense
because good HS courses, should feel like pre-college courses
I think if you are super hands on it can be way better than normal education for K-6
I think it is diminishing returns to worse after that
although you need to ensure the kids have chances to socialize otherwise
in VA, most private schools also stop at grade 10
because you need to get into a system where your AP/IB credits are going to count towards college
which are going to be the public or semi-public schools
