We just had another 🍄 moment
they're coming faster now
I think this was a good one though
I have heard some genuinely concerning things about the ISS launch today, it'll probably get scrubbed
This is Boeing and the US Government's attempt to prove they don't need SpaceX, and can do things the old way still
Launch is ~10:30 tonight if it goes
multiple Boeing engineers have advised against launch, and an official launch advisory is being ignored by NASA/govermnet
normally, I wouldn't think they'd scrub it, since space explosions are in vogue rn, ever since Musk made them funny again
but this one is minority crewed
which I doubt Biden wants blowing up
I'll post the stream when they go live around 10
but again, I expect they'll scrub
and this will sit on the launch pad for 8+ months
which will basically put it out of commission
not a weather issue, their I-launch window is clear
they are mating vertically for no reason, and have never tested that before
because they didn't want to delay launch
SpaceX is the only company who has ever done vertical mating
this is ULA, not SpaceX
that's the objection I heard 1st hand
2nd one, not sure
2 is normally a non-starter
but if Boeing misses this, I think the rocket is a write-off
and their stock price probably can't take that
so I think there's a chance it goes ahead, and they just roll the dice
my phone's blowing up with people giving minute-by-minute updates lol
no one can believe they got two objections from the control room, and didn't wave off there
the worse part garbage, is this is the copycat rocket too
SpaceX launched this for NASA back in 2020
and then NASA gave their designs to Boeing for competitive purposes
and they built something that's TOTALLY DIFFERENT™️
Replying to Spooky Phijkchu #spooky.131 and they built something that's TOTALLY DIFFERENT™️
its diverse
Musk is dunking on them on Twitter
I forget the exact details
but yeah, this is many years late and out of date
it'll be on YouTube I assume, on some shitty Boeing channel
