I'd just put in anchors, if the land was flat
the best LOOKING way to do it, is do a gravel/lava rock foundation
this is not the best one I've seen
square off a big hole, fill with rocks, have exta-long anchors that go below the rock line
if you need to seriously grade, and have a retaining wall, that's a pain

I found this very interesting, but they basically don't manufacter circuit breakers anymore
the consumer 15/20A breakers were all manufactered in the 1980s
and they made so many, that they'll likely never have to make more
the compact split breakers are more recent makes, but yeah it's kind of bizzare when you go to the store to buy Eaton/GE breakers
and the date code on them says 40 years ago
