many kids do not know how to use folders
so I do not think so
like if you want to post on reddit or twitter they will just host it for you, it's not like a forum where you need to link to the image
or if they just rely on searching tenor or ifunny on the fly
The tech illiteracy of the current zoomer gen is going to be interesting
when they hit the workforce

all the zoomers i know use discord servers to hold their memes
if they even try to find/save memes at all
or if they only know how to search live feeds of them
or they'll make an image into a gif to save into discord favorites
I don't even really maintain like a saved collection of images ever since I went to college which gimped my ability to maintain that

I have all my mspaint shit on a USB drive
that I update occasionally
just incase my computer fails
I think most of that is on the google drive though too
yeah I just have all of my images on multiple differnet folders on multiple differnet external hard drives
and if i want something and remember where it is i will go and get it
I think a lot of us are more power users of pcs than most people even in our age group though
I guess I finally have a decent computer again now so if I wanted to I could move them all onto this computer now
so I do not think we are a good samplesize of tech literacy
i don't have to deal with my shitty laptop's 256gb limit anymore

related, I just finished losing brain cells over people arguing about turning off their computers to save $0.10/day or w/e
I turn off mine, not to save money, but because I turn everything I use off when I go to bed
I also turn off my cellphone

I can't turn any part of my body off unfortunately
which makes it pretty hard to sleep sometimes
related the average indian trying to learn programming at my school would probably think their PC is broken and try to restart it if you hid their desktop background and icons as a prank
