I took issue with him explaining the 5second HLS buffer as them configuring things wrong
Because that's how you'd want to do it
I think they fucked up royally though
I actually suspect however they set it up, was supposed to make an MP4, and they wanted to containerize it as a mkv
Separate tracks for audio/video
Yeah honestly
It's not like they have 10 different sub languages
Or a commentary audio track
But if they had their main MP4 input stream set to video
And didn't specify to pass-through audio
Or feed it a separate m8u audio stream
Oh, actually that might have been neat
Have all the audio streams on each video
So you could sync up conversations in different fooms
There's nothing more boring than people getting high on stream
