when they migrated hosts or rebuilt the site to reduce bw costs or whatever they did
they didn't setup folder perms on their reverse proxy correctly
all the security at the CDN level means nothing
if your actual main servers are just open
For what they must have spent to have the site put together
it's pretty funny to just leave it open like this
this is probably a bigger problem than the server cost tbth
so, if CF lets them filter out connection requests and cut down on spikey requests, it might be worth it
I also assume CF has better built-in load balancers
^ maybe not a flat rate, but for a lot of their services they're actually not that expensive anymore
since everyone's been jacking their rates
