I used to use IPVanish, but I cared about no logs more than you might
I wouldn't say they were the best, if I was going to be using them 24/7
I spun my own Zerotier a few months ago, and use that now

I like hardware VPNs a lot as a concept too, but I know the general purpose ones are what 99% of people need
The only other VPN I've really used I don't think exists anymore

For zero logs the only trustable VPN is Mullvad, PIA and everything else is owned by an adware company now. IPVanish has sent logs to people before as well. If you just want speeds use Nord, PIA, ExpressVPN or ProtonVPN. They're all fast.
You can also pick up Mullvad in Monero for that extra security, but they're immune from Nine Eyes so you don't need it.
