I just want a basic ass phone with a good display and camera

I get a warning now, full screen pop-up, whenever I adjust my brightness on android now
because they want to warn me I might damage my eyes or something
because of some dumb saftey thing that I can't disable
i found that a lot of those problems went away when i upgraded
