rust never looked appealing to me

they get the biggest boost in players they ever get

then those players stick around

im surprised its maintained popularity at all

it's objectively a really uninteresting game to play if you don't have retarded amounts of time to sink into it

Having seen the true end game stuff, its just kinda lame to me

If you're devoting your entire life to RUST just kill yourself

the reason they reset every week is because people don't like the end game

they like contesting raids

which, granted is pretty cool conceptually

I just dont think rusts gameplay is good enough to support such longevity

2 or more squads contesting a location for loot, with more possibly coming, fights where if you lose you lose not only your kit/gear but the loot at the location

so its pretty high risk high reward

because winning also gets you everyone who fought you's kit

I think Rust has more replayability than most other survival EA games

I think if there were ever a game like rust that were properly baked it could be fun to play

Rust has always just seemed half baked to me

In many aspects

It's one of those games where you're forced to make your own fun most of the time

So if you're not ingrained in the community you aren't gonna get much out of it

I think if Rust was more polished in general it'd be a lot better
