Alright, after some of the worst routing known to man, I've managed to check everything possible for myself in Emerald. Still have pretty much the entirety of DS3 to check.

waiting on one of a few things to open up the world: strength, rock smash, or the acro bike

uhhhh this is weird. To access the East side of Route 118, and therefore the entire East of Hoenn, I need the acro bike (extra setting in the options to make surf less powerful), however the acro bike I hinted is at Sootopolis gym. I don't know how I'm meant to reach Sootopolis now?

I moved the Archipelago chat and it crashed my entire machine

do you have fly locations shuffled?

I don't think I set fly shuffling? Maybe I did accidentally?

or maybe the free fly spot if you did that

I got to Island 5, I'll loop back and clear the wolf and the couple statues I missed on prior islands

should I wait for that or go do something else?

sphere 23 is way beyond my 10s that I got by skipping the lantern item

that's weird, granite cave is easily accessed once I have surf, and I got surf very early

I don't recall where surf was from, maybe that was out of sequence

surf was sphere 1

ohhhh I think I added the setting where flash is meant to be required to enter dark caves, so it's out of logic for me to get dark cave locations

i did that too but my pokemon checks are still all within sphere 7

just means that my HM Flash is going to be extremely late game

The 1st or 2nd item I got were my T7 walls, which are SUPER lategame and made doing most of the early islands trivial

I'm sure K2C logic isn't great, but it's actually a pretty good APWorld implementation

that's not even out of sequence stuff

Bear Use is the only out of sequence thing it looks like you have

Other than some progression balancing, I think I'd tell the modder to borrow how other Archipelago games do level selection w/ the K2C Islands

Game has the potential to be an amazing rando if you present multiple Island "options" when you embark after clearing a level

Since you have knowledge of what checks will be present, and a rough idea of difficulty

rather than how it works now, where it becomes sorta linear after you clear the initial pool of 4-5 islands in any order you want

@Spooky Phijkchu let me know if "Unicorn Dark Use" is good btw. It's an item that I can buy at any time

Most of the "Animal Use" are different mounts w/ a different attack/ability, Bear is really good so it's not really needed (and tbh I forget which one Dark Unicorn even has)

@Phijkchu_Pikachu "Zora Hall Shop Item 2" this is the most important item I can get btw, let me know when you're online how difficult it will be to obtain.

I technically know how yo sequence break to get it right now (Hard method). In logic it requires epona's song

bombs is the easier seq break

it would be reallllly funny if you did the sequence break and got it now though

(it's literally my last item I need before I can beat the game)

The seq break involves goron snd luring an enemy to a gate to hit me, knocking me over the gate

In DS3, I just need to collect the 4 cinders and then I can fight the final boss, entered from the main hub. I somehow got 3 of the cinders already, so just need that. I have an insane number of checks left in my world otherwise though.
