HF is climax of everything leading up to it, and totally perfects shirou as a character at the end

and gives illya the much needed showing

culminating with the rejection of his ideals and embracing the want to live

UBW feels like a middling interlude in comparison to Fate and HF. IMO

and dont forget last episode

disagree that UBW is bad or feels like a "middling interlude"

it really felt like it did a great job expanding on what was established in fate route

it had a lot of really cool story developments and felt like it spent less time on mundane fate route scenes

that being said I think HF just takes everything established so far and makes something amazing out of it

the route drops it's focus on the servents in favor of developing the masters more

two of my favorite characters get developed in much more depth than in either of the previous routes

HF plot also just feel so much more different than fate and UBW

HF rising action and climax just seal the deal

so many incredibly cool scenes

imo cutting a lot of the illya scenes really does a disservice to the route

Illya's character is not explored at all in UBW and very little in fate

I can only hope they didn't do my boy kirei the same way

Ishtar and Ereshkigal don't look similar outside of being Rin faces though. Stheno and Euryale are dressed nearly identically.

both pairs are sister goddess servents that often have in game interactions together

though I guess arcade did give ishtar a costume without giving eresh one

and I guss ishtar also have both an animation update and an np upgrade

Plenty of other characters could be paired but aren't as well then (Alter Egos for example). These two in particular are very often together and look nearly identically.
