I've been reading through the prisma illya manga and rewatched cp after going through HA

there's a lot of stuff I just didn't pick up on

oh speaking of illya

which makes sense since I wasn't as familiar with characters ofc

when do I read the 2 side story things

if I watched in chronological order I'd have no problem with 1

1 is fine, but gets better as you understand the story more

yeah, they ignored the meta aspect of storytelling

I think that's fine honestly

in that, even if you story does not start at the beggining, the meta has to

it draws up a world for you and tosses you straight in

the slowly goes about explaining the questions you might have about it

over the course of the rest of the show

my problems with KnK are entirely structural

everything else is mostly fine, if not really good

about them

although I think 8 narratively is just bad because it just needlessly complicates the story, and 7 kind of does this "murder is bad thing" but then the murder does not really matter

I personally really enjoy how knk tells it's story, but I also understand why it would frustrate others

nonlinear storytelling like KnK did can work, but you need linear meta for the story

bopit just watch the kiss scenes from the anime

that is all you need from illya

illya is good

railgun is the best series, index anime was good except season 3 which was a mess. Accelerator was a fun sidestory but not really anything amazing
