Some people play FGO, turns out we are still using our group dm for fire emblem heroes chat
Ah, I got into FGO awhile ago when I had my wisdom teeth removed and it's still plauging my life 😔
Is FEH good? I only heard about it recently

I like it, balance is fucked like all gacha's are 7+ years after launch where they keep having to give new units more power to make them desirable
its probably the most generous gacha for f2ps with how much free stuff they give you
Thats cool, I don't ever plan to spend actual money on gacha. Unless it's CSGO or something
I think not spending money on Gacha games make them more fun
Yea having constraints in FGO has made the game actually kind of fun in a way
If I spent money, saying I had 77% of the 910ish units in FEH would be less exciting
Is it like FGO where you need/are incentivised to roll the same unit x amount of times?
The only other gachas I've tried are Girls Frontline and maybe 5 minutes of Ark cause I thought it was just balloons tower defense

you can merge duplicated up to 10 times, all units come with a stat that is buffed and one that is lower than their base, 1st merge removes the penalty on the lower stat, all merges give you +2 stats (so a +10 unit has 20+ 3-4 higher stats)
Main mechanic in FEH is you can sacrifice units to transfer their skills to other units (minus some restricted ones)
so its very customizable

well, there is only so much you can do. Units are limited to a weapon, an assist, a special ability, three types of skills (A-C)
that is what you can transfer over, and each unit can only use 1 of each at a time

difficulty ranges from very easy to I personally despite having played since launch cannot beat this with the units I have

Yea Fate seems to do the same thing, where it's mostly easy but once in awhile you run into a wall
I played the intro to FGO to try and cuck max by getting a unit she was rerolling for on launch, I hated it and will never play the game again
Yea it took me a few tries to get into it tbh, the beginning few chapters blow
I've watched literally all of fate, that's enough for me, FGO is the least appealing fate franchise
And that's only if you somewhat care about story or characters since gameplay isn't crazy

I only got back in because I like Melty Blood tbh and I know Arc is down the line
Also played the Fate route for the first time, pretty kino
FGO is pretty cool, but I dislike the split between NA and JP
I don't want to play 2 accounts, and being years behind sucks
I thought it was a year behind, but yea its pretty lame. At the same time I think it has its benefits as a f2p
I've considered getting a JP Google play for another game and played with the idea of a jp fgo account, but that's far too much work for a gacha
I tried BlueStacks+TL for another gacha
I found it more annoying than it was worth
Hope more things release globally in the future, more and more seem to which is good
Yea I downloaded an android emulator but no phone game is worth the extra effort of opening my bios
I'd much prefer international releases

I got everything I wanted
there aren't really any new characters or such that I'd be going for
and I have an overflow of all mats so whenever I wanna play again I wouldn't be behind on anything except new stuff
