Replying to Polar_ #polar_ I was thinking the other day how LoL Smite mechanic is kinda wack and it's much cooler to have heros who interact with creeps/monsters through abilities like how Doom/Nunu have a Devour ability
The end thought of this was supposed to be wouldnt it be cool if you could eat his bear

I am also 14 years out of practice, also I never really played a lot so I was never good then
last time I was going to play I offered to play with max and she heartlessly shot me down, so I have no intention of reinstalling dota anyways
When you guys were talking about match lengths, I was checking my dotabuff and found my longest (and best/favorite) game
Also this is the game Pika was talking about
He was windrunner, Fire was Darkseer, and Regi or whoever was Lina
We did better in some of the other mobas
idk if dotabuff sucks now or what
dota is just not the same game as when I played it last lmao
but it's missing a ton
also yeah, HotS was actually fun
HotS me and fire were doing retard strats and it just worked

hots has the benefit of if you're even slightly above average intelligence, it's really natural to play
We (me bopit and paladin) had a smite arc
we played a lot of smite
I was better at that
This was pre discord skype era though

winning this game while being (essentially) the only one with tower dmg on my team was amazing
and I'm sure it broke the other team to lose to a rat like that after 90+ minutes of control
