I'll be home with my family by the week of christmas

but I probably won't decorate

I will be leaving to go home next monday, there is zero point in decorating my apartment for it to sit empty

yeah that's my lot as well

I had my first phijkchu-esque dream in a while, so I will share it here I was back at home in my hometown, but my family wasn't there. Instead my home was filled with people who I'd describe more as allies than friends, because they were there since somehow I'd attracted the ire of a nutjob who breaks into peoples' homes and kills them while livestreaming from a gopro. he wasn't streaming then though so I guess it was personal. anyways the beginning of the dream was me just finding a weapon from the cache that some of the other guys had brought in, and I had my dad's revolver with me. it turned out to be the ideal choice because I spotted the guy breaking in through our garage door and I just blew his head off in one. he looked like a strung out crack dealer but he was wearing full tactical armor and kit minus the helmet

I heard him muttering angrily outside as he was trying to jam his hand through the broken window of our garage door and then I just camped that sightline

honestly im a little bit sad that nobody has acknowledged this yet

oh yeah I must've been at least partially lucid during it because I remembered being like "ah shit New York state law I gotta get rid of his body" (it's technically still a felony if you act in self-defense, you're supposed to try and leave before fighting back)

with self defense laws like that you really should leave

I played it for about 102 hours over two playthroughs, one on Hard and the other on Mega+ (hardest difficulty) and then I cleaned up the rest of the side content for 100%

do the candycanes melt enough? or are they still hard and sharp after baking

I underbaked them ever so slightly so they kinda came out goopier compared to my batch with no addins

I brought the regular batch in to the holiday party at my internship site and everyone loved them

im not sure how the peppermint crunch ones would have done but I like them well enough and I ate them over the past few days just for no waste

I don't like mint so I didn't have any firsthand experience, your pic just made me wonder

I am rather a fan of mint but I couldn't get any peppermint extract, I tried ordering some from Walmart but me having a large order and using their free trial plus a promo code tripped their fraud detection and they told me to fuck off

I swear to god not liking mint is some kind of autism thing, I never met anyone irl who didnt like it besides me and in this server theres like 20 people

so I just got the brownie supplies and some candy canes from aldis

I feel like enjoying mint is an autism thing

yeah I do that often

if I were to do it again I'd likely try harder to get the peppermint extract and add some to my brownie mix instead of getting the candy canes

so that it would be the texture of a good brownie with mint flavor instead of a good brownie with hard bits that will fuck your teeth up

I enjoy mint but specifically the peppermint and winter mints. Not spearmint.

it is a very old game that was ported to pc from the ps vita and it includes some of the crust but it also comes with another game that was made for pc and is like the first game but strictly better

both games are still phenomenal though
