the way the buff system works in this game is that individual charms or wards can provide the same effect but activate in the same instance as long as they come from different sources

so even though every other school already has a blade for themselves if I give them the elemental or spiritual blade it will count as another 35% for them

and then the unique blades are a universal damage output buff so I can just slap those onto people who are doing damage anyways

It was a really good MMO back in its day, would have been cool if Kingsisle Studios actually made a modern game rather than just sticking with W101 for 15 years
