if it's just the back headphone jack
then you just need to update the software
from within windows
this is where you get the software from for the back audio ports

is it a SATA SSD (little box shape) or a m.2 SSD (stick of gum shape)

if it's a SATA SSD that looks like
then you plug it into your power supply and into port 7 on that diagram
the plugs are both L shaped
if it's an m.2 SSD, you'll need an adapter
there will be a bunch of SATA ports
a block of 6 of them
it doesn't really matter which one
and what Leg said, you need to find a place to put it in your case
I just let mine hang there, but if you want it to be more secure, it'll come with screws you can use to screw it somewhere
when do you get the error?
can you get into bios?
did you change any hardware in this build?
I'd say try booting into safe mode w/ networking
see if that's stable
then do your updates
you can do it all with keyboard
