they make cheap adapters if you don't have one on your motherboard natively

they make these adapters

do you know your motherboard model? or can you send a picture of the ports remaining
I suspect you don't have a 3.1 plug spot
if that matters to you, there are ways of adding a plug spot for it
but imo, I don't think it's the most important thing

it means the USB-C ports on the front of your case won't work
but I don't think that's a huge deal

that's going to be a small cable that you have to plug into your MB

then you just need to update the software
from within windows
