I'm liking it quite a lot, to me it feels like a very well-designed smt or persona game, like everything is very deliberate and fine-tuned so even though I'm rocking a whole team of ultimates by chapter 8 the game isn't a total breeze

I'm using a difficulty patch made by a friend that gives all enemy digimon a 20% boost to their stats except defense so it's like a mediumcore mode between normal and hard

damn, are you doing your first run with the difficulty patch?

even on normal shitmons they don't die instantly and when the game has you fighting a serious fight it can really put some pressure on you but you're never really in danger of just hard wiping
