the new thing they added to providence seems to accomplish little more than raping your drones so you actually have to fight him yourself
which is actually fairly welcome since drones in this game are strong enough to destroy him if you can survive
I also noticed that overall his fight is less about pure aggression and more like trickiness mixed with aggressive zoning so providence doesn't try to rape you so much as keep you away from him

Have you gotten the secret character yet Bob? I just unlocked him. It's a real pain because currently the Paladin Cape item will crash the game when you attempt to finish the quest.
I've not quite yet bothered with unlocking the funny little guy because it seems like a bit too much effort for a joke character but I've got every other character unlocked
I've heard a lot of people say that he can be actually viable because he's so fucking small and hard to hit but I've yet to experience it for myself
as it stands I've only beaten the game as chef, enforcer, drifter, mercenary, miner, and sniper

I didn't mention this to anybody but the point of this team specifically was that this is the exact team I built when I was 12 years old but I never managed to beat red with it so I reconstructed it and improved it and came back and beat his sorry ass
after a few tries because this hack gave half of his team blizzard and gave his snorlax curse
Ider what my first full team was
Usually I just used my starter
I just had a bunch of guys that I enjoyed
typhlosion was what I used most of the time but I also really liked magneton
As a kid I power leveled the fuck outta my starter and nothing else
Easy to one man army pearl, but I didn't beat silver until the remake, and it took a looong time to beat red
