It would, because there is a subset (say 20% of people) who cannot understand that you are not supposed to root for every character ever written who is a protagonist (unrelated, since I am rooting for rudy)

Honestly, outside of S1 Nanahoshi and Orsted and S2 Paul dying, it is so far a generic isekai with a really good story.

Jobless I imagine is mostly a slow burn for the world building, We haven't been shown a ton of universe original concepts beyond that of of some of the strange abilities of the demons, the sword god system, and the curses but with how much I was able to know by taking notes during my season 1 rewatch a few years ago for season 2, and how much I was able to piece before it occurred in s2, and how many things were open ended, I can assume plenty is getting set up for people who are staying hypervigilant.

World building is second to story quality anyways, even if both feed each other.
