Thanks for answering the call my video asked for
this is pure skizo if I don't clarify why you are posting this
Looking at the ratings
apparently like 600 people total
imdb raitings are retarded when it comes to anime, and the one hype show every season gets spammed every week with "it got 9.9/10, breaking all records"
it was Re:zero last season (which is fair, season 4 was pretty great)
Also true
Anime ads have now reached the military industrial complex

Thunder. The New Era of Attack Aviation.
I was going to say, that felt very Anduril
they get a pass
it's cringe, but Palmer Lucky is the king of cringe
I'm really sad, it seems one of the greatest videos of all time is no long on the internet, because Konami copyright claimed it and idk if anyone has it archived
E1/2 did not have the evil diddy n;id ra[ost as twotter calls him, E3 had him but E4 is moreso when the show gets into full swing
I fucked that up
thats what I get for typing while walking away from my pc (not looking, holding my wireless keyboard)
well, that depends on what you thinkg ra[ost was supposed to be
It would, because there is a subset (say 20% of people) who cannot understand that you are not supposed to root for every character ever written who is a protagonist (unrelated, since I am rooting for rudy)

You would think people would understand anti-heroes with the 10 Marvel movies who are all anti-heroes
Yeah, like spider man
I've seen the papers, he is a menace
Jobless I imagine is mostly a slow burn for the world building, We haven't been shown a ton of universe original concepts beyond that of of some of the strange abilities of the demons, the sword god system, and the curses but with how much I was able to know by taking notes during my season 1 rewatch a few years ago for season 2, and how much I was able to piece before it occurred in s2, and how many things were open ended, I can assume plenty is getting set up for people who are staying hypervigilant.
I say this as someone who loves MT
I think partially because the author is into the idea of time passing as Rudy grows up (which is more obvious in the novels), he writes downtime in which breaks up the pace of the story in a sorta weird way
idk if this is criticism or what, but MT is on the chekov side of writing, where characters/places/things are drawn upon time and time again, and I think a lot of fantasy (and anime in general) is more used to Shounen or monster-of-the-week sorta pacing, where the story progresses by introducing new things/characters and just sidelining those plot elements once they've been resolved in the moment, so the story can move onto the next thing
The author gets more explicit with the themes he's going for with the story as it goes on, but I think most of them are pretty obvious even now
Yeah like the theme of polygamy is awesome
which was also the entire point of the one robot anime from a few seasons ago that had the really good episode 0 then consistantly got worse each episode after that
To the original discussion Dialga/Pika were heaving, I really don't understand the anti crowd at all for MT
Its preformative weebing
I think that is entirely it
or even the reddit take of "you're not supposed to like Rudeus"
you want to engage with anime, but you don't really like it, but you want to engage with it
Re:Zero (and Shangri-La for that matter) do have a ton of inspired-by works
they're just all WNs
and never escape the format
idk whether to even blame Shangri-la for the litRPG craze, because the genre itself was Russian originally, then went over to Japan/Korea
every isekai needs slavery and rice
it's a rule
I think its a good call, but the MT anime also doesn't spend almost any time explaining the magic/martial system in the world
Rudeus gets a little bit from a book in S1, and the magic/sword masters will explain some things a little here and there
there is a very rigid system, that I think most anime-onlys will be surprised by some aspect of it at some point

Started watching Li'l Elvis Jones and the Truckstoppers. It's another kids show where you don't realize how fucked up the premise is until you're an adult.
A couple in the NT who own a service station, find a baby in a guitar case are convinced the kid is the illigitimate son of Elvis Presley. So they raise him up to be an Elvis Impersonator, and they won't let him go to school.
