Episode 13 is when he wakes up
realizing everything post turtle was a dream
and turtle arc pt 2 begins

it makes its plot and characters inherently frustrating, in order to keep itself going
The first few episodes, have the normal problems I'd expect, but it's still a good show
I'll avoid posting spoilers I guess, since people are still watching it

That sounds like it’s asking to be bad

I find the show frustrating on two counts
1) the EXTREME withholding of knowledge between main characters, for no purpose
2) the world being structured in a way that can't contain the story its trying to tell
The lesser annoyance is the overall pacing, where I don't think fights, dramatic scenes, and levity/fanservice are even sort of balanced right
it's the same way I felt about the final arc of S1 of Shield Hero, last couple episodes solidified that
I agree with every point you made, it did not bother me as much though
those two things are some of the most frustrating things to watch for me
I don't think they're universal
Thank God I have Birdie Wing to look forward to in a couple hours

also it was funny bad
its alright in 99% of cases

I've only hated something I watched out of obligation like 3 times out of all the shows I have seen
not really fire
I have had nothing but free time for the last over a year
plus finishing shield hero lets me discuss it with my anime lads about how bad it is

because again, I only hate very few shows
