Virgin Road is a stupid show
it deserves it's low MAL score
But lesbians spooky
shitty lesbians
I like the idea that the time girl has been doing time loops
I think the execution was not the best
idk if it's fair to complain how obvious the "twists" are
but if you ignore that completely, and pretend like they're really well executed
the actual plot of the world is way too small for the time power
I literally only watched this show because mili did the op and bopit told me to watch it because mili did the op
I'm not done with the show yet, so I can't fully tear it apart
but it's as bad as the worst parts of Shield S1

oh yeah this was the show where the main two people have very few anime va roles
time girl is very new to anime vaing
she sounds young
so that makes sense
she was born in 2000

main girls only other role I've seen is she is vanilla in nekopara
I enjoyed watching it, it did not make me angry at any point for the most part
so I also gave it a 7
it's a 2-3 for me, I'll see how I feel when I finish it
I don't think it gets better for you spooky
you'll love the thing that shows up in the last episode

it makes its plot and characters inherently frustrating, in order to keep itself going
The first few episodes, have the normal problems I'd expect, but it's still a good show
I'll avoid posting spoilers I guess, since people are still watching it

That sounds like it’s asking to be bad
idk why the embed is broken
I find the show frustrating on two counts
1) the EXTREME withholding of knowledge between main characters, for no purpose
2) the world being structured in a way that can't contain the story its trying to tell
The lesser annoyance is the overall pacing, where I don't think fights, dramatic scenes, and levity/fanservice are even sort of balanced right
it's the same way I felt about the final arc of S1 of Shield Hero, last couple episodes solidified that
I agree with every point you made, it did not bother me as much though
those two things are some of the most frustrating things to watch for me
I don't think they're universal
Thank God I have Birdie Wing to look forward to in a couple hours
