the best part of the show: E1, isn't even from the books

it's an original story written by the author for the anime

yeah, E1 was anime original and raised my hype for the show by so fucking much

like, I can beleive the adaptation was faithful

but man, FUUUCCCKKKK this series

it cannibalises itself

big disappoint

they keep piling on worse and worse plot elements

and then present them in the most obnoxious ways

the last 3 episodes especially

made me mad

the fucking solution to the fight btw. Pissed me off so much, because it was flashbacks but to things that were not hinted at

so it was literally out of thin air

that he could do that

I genuinely, cannot explain to you the plot of Dia's kingdom

not memeing

yeah, its not clear

and I don't feel like watching it again, will make it clearer

I don't need definite plot points, mystery and ambiguity are fun

but not when it's me questioning what is even going on

the big problem with the last 3 episodes is

yeah no clue

literally no choice made

makes sense

from any of the characters

lugh defeats the purpose of "sneaking in to assassinate her" but fucking nuking the soldiers

dia's dad for whatever reason was just going to die and did not ask to be fake assassinated himself

but then he contradicted himself

dia could have told him what was going on when they were bathtub fucking

and said he was going to slip away in the fight

yeah

you know what, this show made me equally as mad as SAO

the fairy arc

I think the show was pretty great up to just after the episode where tarte got felt up

and I love SAO, they turned that series around

then it was a steady downhill

too many women ruined it

tarte is okay by herself. The other woman in his harem is just not good

dia is great, but ruined kinda at the end by being a retard

this should have just been healer

I think I am still the maddest about them ruining the goddess

she was one of my favourite god characters in a while because she was just ridiculous
