tbf, the manga was going SOOOOO slow back then
and it never really got a good ending
it just sputtered out
tons of side plots just ended nowhere, setups for side-series that never came
I still need to finish watching that bad spin off that is shit
instead we got Fire Force
just for completion
its stuck in my on hold hell

Fire Force is decent
and that was a weaker connection
it's just got some bad episodes
