most shows I watch are 3 stars

they're watchable, I enjoy them, and I finish them

so, tbh I literally just base what I consider what show to be based on the word choice mal uses for its scores

I like most things I watch and think they are good

so most things get a 7

2 stars, usually I'd have to force myself to finish, I got bored half-way through the show

I think I only really have to force myself to finish things below a 5 on my scaling, but that matches your 2 star thing

I struggle to watch 4-6s

3 and lower I can laugh at

7 and higher I enjoy

It also depends really, is the show a consistant "6" or is it like, a 7 with a few shitty parts

and because this is the real world, most shows aren't consistent quality throughout

I really really liked Spider except for those parts

but I could not rate it high because how bad those parts are

there is 2 bad episodes

the anime i think deserves a 10 the most is the smurfs

there are like 3 bad episodes and a couple meh halfs of episodes

but i don't think the smurfs is on mal

but those bad episodes tanked the series for me

Spiders manga is better

garbage, I highly doubt that

the voice actress for kumeko, as well as the sound design do so much for the show

I like the majority of anime over the manga counterparts

The only exceptions are bookworm, spider, and mha

the bookworm anime was bad

same with Arifureta

My gripes with bookworm is something that pisses me off about a series that I am very vocal about hating
