my favourite new anime was vanitas, just because black company kind of became weird in the middle before getting back to the main timeline

dragon maid is my favourite sequel this season

Sonny Boy is flawed

I feel like if I give it praise it spoils the show though

it's an anime original with a unique artstyle

and it's def worth watching

I think I watched basically everything I would like this season

what with me watching 11 shows and all

I mean, it's the same reason you wouldn't like Wonder Egg, or Devilman, or Remake, etc.

garbage and I looked at it, I watch like 7 shows, then 8 shows, then 11 shows

for the last 3 seasons

I need to go back to 3-5

as long as they're spread out I don't mind

but this season has been really bad Friday-Sunday

all mine are on 3 days except slime which is by itself

I have like 10 shows that drop in that 3-day period

luckily, next season only has 3 shows on my ptw, and most of the other shows do not look like something I want to watch

The anime industry should learn from the west and name their shows better. When I hear of Family guy I think of a guy with a family. When I hear Is the order a rabbit I don't know what I am getting myself into

the main problem is the trend of ln adaptations that have a plot synopsis as the title

Well I finished Kotoura so thats 1 less on my list of shows to watch

yes, but I felt the show was very inconsistent in how it treated mind reading girls trauma and the tone of the show was all over the place

I watched the first episode and was like "wow, this is going to be a more heavy drama, did not realize that"

then it was not

but then sometimes it was, only to be undercut by the comedy

I gave it a 7. I enjoyed the show, but I feel like it could have been better

I liked all the main characters, the last episode kind of baffled me because they tried to redeem the mom for being a piece of shit

in a way that was not deserved

the twist that the bad person was the police lady was kind of obvious (mind you, a lot of that is I know what an ASP is and the attacker was using one, and that is standard police gear at least here in canada)

I feel like the show would have been a point higher if it either committed fully to being a more serious drama, or just dropped some of the drama in favour of being a pure comedy

also the girls mind reading powers were kind of inconsistent, idk about you, but I am always thinking about shit before I say/do anything, but they characters in the show seem to only think about things when they need to
