I was gonna give the season a 5 overall, this ending bit raises it to a 6, but this season would have been so much better had they just cut half of the stuff the came before this

I get that with a shonen they sometimes want to go overly slow

but.... and I can't beleive I'm saying this

just add filler in, the pacing in these cannon episodes was so bad

because they'd adapt a single chapter, or HALF a chapter to a 20 minute episode

even though stuff was "happening", it just dragged on so fucking long

I think the first episode this season where I was like "yeah this was actually pretty good" was the kurogiri episode with eraser, but that was like 3/4ths of the way into the season

but they kind of pulled it around

the ending was really good

now, this spin-off didn't need to be 7 books long

so when does it get its own anime

thats the only thing I've read

these are novels

but yeah, the megumin manga was adapted from the first 3 LNs of hers

So, vol 7 of Dust takes place concurrently with vol 17 of the main series

and tbh, if they ever did adapt that into a movie it would probably work
