I like how spider is just casually genociding elves
It is probably one of my favorite animes in recent seasons admittedly
I think it is really good
I think there have only been a few parts in the last 18 episodes that were iffy, and one episode where I think the pacing was kind of fucked
rest of the show has been great
I was hesitant when I first saw that the spider was in CGI
but its honestly fine
its not the super lazy kind of CGI use that you usually see
it feels deliberate because its basically a game world
I think it works
This show is no Land of the Lustrous with its CGI, but its also not overlord trashmobs CGI
its a nice in between
Arofureta is unwatchable garbage
Spider is amazing

I had to do that for Shield Hero
SAO rebounded somehow
After ALO and GGO were terrible
Alicization was actually good
And it can mostly stand on its own after S1 part 1 of the original show
I think the fights in Part 2 are hype
but the context is a little.... silly

Max, how much 86 have you read
Yeah
I read through 3, then skimmed though 4-7
1 was clearly meant to be a one-off
Even the loli in 2 wasn't enough to save it
At the very end of vol 7 they finally kiss
And it's super anticlimactic
I honestly don't even know what the purpose of volumes 3-7 are
1+a slightly longer epilogue
would have been perfect
