shota slime has to be slow by design
that was an okay first episode
I think my issue boils down to >not as good as season 1
which is why I was dissapointed because I really liked season 1
My expectation was that they were not going to spend the whole cour setting up for the next arc
granted, I liked the season still, but generally I don't think it benefited from being as long as it was
yeah, same reaction without knowing the source here
I think the only episode that actually annoyed me was the one right before the end of season fighting
not unique to slime or anything
where they just did not do anything
had a similar problem to that one episode on danmachi 3 where nothing really happened
like, honesty
There was a season of Hero Academia that was like that too
part 1 could have been 10 episodes
the entire end of season 3 iirc
after the almight versus all for one shit
(also the second half of season 4 if you do not like the school festival arc)
Re:Zero makes me feel the same way while I'm watching it, but then they'll have really good endings which make me forgive the problems more

I really liked season 2
this might be the most retarded show I've ever watched
there was a wildly unpopular show called Gekidol
this is the first episode of that show + a 25 minute retcon of the remaining 11 episodes
