I'm actually mad about this show
ripoff-Index deserved better

show was on track to be a solid 4* show
anime original single-season show
was funny, had good characters
and the ensuing trainwreck was the worse I've ever seen
I know it's in the moment right now
but I actually can't think of a show that fucked up worse
when reddit hates your shit

How bad was it
there were a few boring episodes here and there
would have worked better if they did 2 sub-plots per episodes instead of 1 long one, like other slide-of-life shows
but overall pretty good up until episode 9
Maybe I’ll give it another shot then and finish it to see the crappy ending
then out on nowhere men in suits abduct the loli for no reason, literally lobotomize her, and the next 3 episodes are about taking care of a literal vegetable

there were a lot of better theories about the twist
given that the whole point of the show is Hina is a "god"
lots of theories about everything being a simulation, or something like that. Things not being real
but nope, nothing interesting like that, nor anything actually sad

because it takes more than just being bad
