I think its a good call, but the MT anime also doesn't spend almost any time explaining the magic/martial system in the world
Rudeus gets a little bit from a book in S1, and the magic/sword masters will explain some things a little here and there
there is a very rigid system, that I think most anime-onlys will be surprised by some aspect of it at some point

Started watching Li'l Elvis Jones and the Truckstoppers. It's another kids show where you don't realize how fucked up the premise is until you're an adult.
A couple in the NT who own a service station, find a baby in a guitar case are convinced the kid is the illigitimate son of Elvis Presley. So they raise him up to be an Elvis Impersonator, and they won't let him go to school.
Maybe it's because when I watched it I didn't watch it from the start, so I thought his parents weren't delusional. But watching it from the start this is the clearest case of nurture over nature, since the kid does not want to be an elvis impersonator, but his parents are forcing that life-style onto him.
It is truly great

I think the first ~ 3 episodes of solo leveling are the only episodes I can consider good

Because it finally got subs, I watched the second slime movie
I would describe the movie as the spy x family movie mixed with pokemon 2000, which will make no sense unless you know my thoughts on the spy x family movie and also watch the movie to know what parts are like pokemon 2000
overall liked it slightly more than the first movie, it being noncanon makes the already non existant slime stakes even funnier

another new studio, lol
S4 will cover what I think is peak Konosuba in the novels, but anime S1 will probably remain the best overall adaptation
unless this new studio absolutely kills it
