This is a really great season, essentially everything's aired their E1s (other than Elusive Samurai S2, which airs ~3 weeks late)

I was considering watching the "kimi ga shinu" one. good i guess it had a good start then?
I really really liked it
it reminds me of SukaSuka (Worlds End)
they made it not overbearingly yuri, which surprised me
and made it fun
Maybe I will pick up more non sequels
I am only watching 2 of them somehow
Otome Kaijuu Carameliser is also fun
that's probably the one I'd reccomend
Kaiju one looked fun from the trailer
romcoms really benefit from having good animations
you can get a lot more mileage out of subtle jokes

Completely genuinely, the characters all wear headscarves the entire episode and look like worms
That's not some hot political take, I just think it's retarded to have a female main cast when they all look like

I have a comment about that show, idk if you watched E2 but their lore about sheep is hilarious
So, this is a native isekai homesteading show
And for whatever reason, the author wrote that sheep have human-level intelligence
And submit to being domesticated because they have no hope of survival otherwise
But this makes them depressed, so it is more humane to harvest them for material while they are young
Before they become "wise to the world"
It's the best alternative to having slaves I've seen in an isekai

setup a bunch of characters, kill 90% of them off in the first few chapters/episodes, then you get deeper in an realize you need to replenish them so you can have there be stakes again

They go more nuts with Fezzan's technology.
Kempf Goes out like a legend of the galactic hero. After they blow up one of Geiersburg's engines, Kempf is still able to pilot the thing and starts to redirect Geiersburg, while suffering from a major impalement. Though you lose out on the shitshow where all of Kempf's men kill eachother evacuating, since in this version he orders his men to evacuate before crashing the fortresses together

It really does justice to the final bit in book 4 in which Reinhard carresses his amulet. And I don't think the OVA does justice to this particular bit of amulet carressing. Maybe they didn't have the budget, or maybe they just didn't have the technology back then where the show makers couldn't imagine what it looks like for Reinhard to hold his amulet in this particular way.

I feel like what it did was fine for 2 seasons, and then it introduced a new wave of bodies for the unnecessary third season arc.
