personally I didn't care for season 4's ending theme so much that I never noticed they used a different song. But whenever they play Stay Alive as an alternate ending I think of Edward Elric punching through the gate of truth in Fullmetal Alchemist brotherhood

For the WN readers here who haven't read the LN, there's a major pacing change weirdness right near the start of S3
That I hope they just skip
I still am convinced S2 was meant to have an OVA (to match S1) they just didn't end up making
To clarify, they roll right from the climax of last season into an extended period of narrative downtime
which always existed, but in the WN it's ~1/3 of the next novel, rather than an entire novel like the LN has
it's good, it's just a rough way to start a season off with if you don't re-arrange things at least a little
S2 ends at (essentially) the final part of Adolescence
with only a few things left to adapt before the next era
I have faith in Bind to do okay
