Of all the shady things Oberstein advices Reinhard to do in Galactic Heroes, the one thing I reckon doesn't get talked about enough is how they offed Offlesser. Since Reinhard's men killed all the prisoners, and branded Ovresser as a traitor (since officially he betrayed his men to serve Reinhard), it gives the galaxy the false impression that Reinhard is both a TAKE-NO-PRISONERS guy and willing to reward traitors.
