Had a weird experience watching Witch Hat Atelier last night. After the bit where master Qifrey took a bight out of a leaf in his garden, him and everyone else started talking in low and distorted voices. At first I thought this was because Qifrey was tripping on drugs. But when I rewound the episode the low distorted voices were there in the scenes even before he bit the leaf. The small furry mascot creature appears on Qifrey's shoulderQifrey in an evil demonic voice: "Good. I shall call you 'Puff Puff'"

Like, I think the video file I was watching got infested by demons as I was watching it. And none of the other audio was effected. Just the voices.

Could have also been a sign that I shouldn't watch this show about cute girls doing witchcraft.

Ruri Rocks was fun to watch but I gained absolutely nothing from watching it

You know what I don't like? Coming up with theories that get confirmed the very episode you were making them. I tried analyzing the intro for Re:Zero season four (today) and I figured "Subaru will die a lot this season". And loe and behold he dies twice in episode 8. Never mind he already had a few deaths earlier in the season. edit: That was BEFORE I came up with this theory.

Finished reading Dorohedoro, it was good, I liked the art and the color chapters in the earlier volumes were very pretty. Will prob check the anime next.

I started playing ZZZ recently though, and a good amount of the outfits are relatively normal and modern at least

Most of the way through season 1 of Shangri La Frontier, and it really made me appreciate how in the King's Avatar novels the main characters just glaze over all the cutscenes. SLF spends so much of its time interacting with NPCs that I don't care about. Arthur Pencilgon talking with that ghost NPC quest giver was especially eggrigious (given how it is described how this is out of character for Pencilgon to care for an NPC). It doesn't matter how realistic the NPCs are supposed to be, I just don't care for the lore of your game within a show. That's too many layers away from reality.
