how quickly did the Vigilantes anime only people realize who the cloud guy was?
When the manga was releasing it was during the exact timeframe of the of the main series doing the build up reveal on that stuff, almost certainly the main author offloaded it to the vig guy.

Finally finished Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory, after dropping it all those years ago since it had two recap episodes in its first 10 episodes (out of 14). It ended with a message written at the bottom of the screen: >Thank you for watching IV till the end. >We hope to meet you again in the future

Now I am depressed. Since I didn't stick with the show till the end way back then, now there has still yet to be a season 5 of Full Metal Panic! and it is all my fault.
